SVB + Weebly Happy Hour

Join Silicon Valley Bank and Weebly after the first day of TechCrunch Disrupt for a happy hour with a big impact. We're partnering with the TECH Foundation to raise funds and awareness for local non-profit Hack the Hood, which provides high-tech skills and mentoring to low-income youth.

Your $10 ticket will go towards the Hack the Hood's general program costs, which include technical equipment, food, bus passes, and a small stipend for the youth participating in the program. Additional donations will go towards 25 Chromebooks ($179 each) for Hack the Hood's next youth program. Let's see how much we can raise towards this very important cause!

In addition to casual networking with tech entrepreneurs and industry professionals, snacks and an open bar are on us! Remember to rock your company swag for all to see.

About
Hack the Hood is both a youth development program AND economic development program. We train low-income youth of color in 21st century career skills and online technology, which they then apply to real-world consulting projects for small minority-owned businesses in their neighborhoods. Youth build new mobile-responsive, SEO optimized websites; list clients on online maps and directories, and get them started on social media.
